The Town of Noma is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to serve as the Town Maintenance Worker, a key role supporting the Town’s public works and water systems.
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour
Position Overview
Under the direction of the Town Council, this position performs a wide range of duties including:

Maintaining roads, drainage systems, and right-of-ways

Operating equipment such as tractors, mowers, and backhoes

Repairing water system leaks
-
Removing storm debris
-
Maintaining town facilities and vehicles
-
Preparing boil water notices when necessary
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
-
Valid Florida Driver’s License
-
Ability to safely operate tools and equipment
-
Ability to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions
Pre-employment drug testing required.
