Section 3 Employment Opportunities – Street Repaving Project

The Town of Noma has awarded a construction contract for street repaving activities.
As construction proceeds, the contractor may need to hire additional workers. The Town of Noma is committed to promoting and encouraging employment opportunities for its residents, particularly those with low to moderate incomes. Council Member Mixon Resignation & Governor DeSantis Exzecutive Order

Date: November 4, 2025

At the Tuesday, November 4, 2025 Town Council Meeting, the Noma Town Council accepted the resignation of Council Member Mixon, effective October 23, 2025, and acknowledged Governor Ron DeSantis’s Executive Order 25-212, which formally suspends Council Member Mixon from office.
Residents interested in being appointed to the vacant Seat 4 are encouraged to attend the next Town Council Meeting on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Noma Town Hall.

Public Notice – Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

The Town of Noma, Florida is seeking Statements of Qualifications from licensed engineering firms to provide continuing professional engineering services under Florida’s CCNA (Section 287.055, F.S.).
Projects may include work on water, wastewater, stormwater, roadway, park, and other municipal infrastructure improvements, along with grant application and administration assistance.
