Robert L. “Buddy” Skipper Park
Robert L. “Buddy” Skipper Park is named in honor of Noma’s long-time mayor, Buddy Skipper, whose service and dedication to the community left a lasting impact on the town. The park offers a welcoming space for families, friends, and visitors to enjoy outdoor activities and gatherings.
The park includes:
- Multiple covered picnic shelters, perfect for birthday parties, family gatherings, and community get-togethers
- Two playgrounds
- Basketball courts
- Tennis courts
- A skate court
Community Room at the Mitchell Building
The Mitchell Building serves as Noma’s town center. It houses Town Hall—including the Town Clerk’s office and the Council Chamber—as well as the Noma Volunteer Fire Department and the Community Room.
A Venue for Your Next Gathering
The Community Room is available for rental by families, organizations, and local groups. It’s an excellent space for:
- Family gatherings and reunions
- Wedding receptions
- Anniversary celebrations
- Birthday parties
- Community meetings and events
